Research Fellow Nivedita S participated in the World Energy Justice Congress 2024 held in Ecole Centrale Casablanca, Morocco, from 27 to 30 May 2024. This interdisciplinary conference was organised by the energy justice research team at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour, France and Ecole Centrale Casablanca, Morocco.

Nivedita was part of the Scientific Session on Energy Justice Contemporary Issues on 29 May 2024, where she presented on “Sustainable Financing and Energy Justice in ASEAN: Navigating the Balancing Act”. Her presentation focused on ways to strengthen the ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance in order to promote energy justice, particularly by enhancing the social dimension considerations.
