Introduction
The Centre for International Law (CIL) at the National University of Singapore is pleased to announce that the ILA Committee on Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Technology Law is accepting nominations for membership, subject to review and formal approval by the ILA HQ in November 2025.
Interested experts in international law, technology governance and adjacent fields are encouraged to join one of the two online introductory sessions on Thursday 3rd July 2025 at 5am (BST) and 1pm (BST). Each session will have the same content but will be held at different times to allow members in different parts of the world to participate in the session which is best suited to their jurisdiction.

About the Speakers
Dr. Jon Truby serves as Chair of the ILA Committee on Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Technology Law. He is also a Visiting Research Associate Professor specializing in AI and Technology Law at the Centre for International Law (CIL).
The Committee’s Co-Rapporteurs are Mr. Ahmed Essa AlSulaiti, President of the ILA GCC Branch and representative to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, and Dr. Rafael Dean Brown, a long-standing ILA member and a highly cited scholar in the field of emerging technologies.
