Jon Truby participated in the UNESCO 3rd Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
Dr. Jon Truby participated in the UNESCO 3rd Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence as an expert contributor in the closed expert session titled “UNESCO RAM Revision – Dialogue on Environment.” This expert dialogue was organised as part of UNESCO’s ongoing effort in its ‘Human Rights-Based Ethical AI Governance project’ to revise its Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM), with a focus on strengthening its environmental dimension. The session gathered experts working at the intersection of AI and environmental sustainability to assess and enhance the robustness of the RAM tool in evaluating ethical AI governance from an environmental standpoint. Dr. Truby also attended the UNESCO 3rd Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and joined sessions such as on AI ethics, quantum technologies and technology sustainability.
