The Embassy of Costa Rica and the Embassy of France in the Netherlands held an online conference on July 9, 2025 to reflect on the legal dimensions of the Ocean Conference and explore the way forward.
Discussions moderated by Jean-Marc Thouvenin, Secretary General of The Hague Academy of International Law - Académie de droit international de La Haye, with the participation of Her Excellency Maria Teresa Infante Caffi, judge at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea/Tribunal international du droit de la mer, Niki Aloupi, member of the Judicial and Technical Commission of the International Seabed Authority, Nilufer Oral, member of the International Law Commission, and François Alabrune, Ambassador of France in The Hague.
