TRILA on the Road | Myanmar

The third ‘TRILA on the Road’ workshop took place in Heho, Shan State, Myanmar, from 24 to 25 July 2019. The TRILA team’s co-organiser here was the Department of Law of Taunggyi University. 48 local teachers and students of international law participated in this event. Two other universities—Dagon University and Panglong University—were duly represented in this workshop.
Among the key achievements of this workshop were the discussion on using problem-oriented approach in teaching, demonstration on how international law can be taught using Myanmar history, and a group exercise on building a course syllabus to teach international law in Myanmar.
