1 February 2023: CIL Director Dr Nilüfer Oral was Invited to Speak at the Anthropocene Webinar Organized by ADI-ILA

This is the third of a series of webinars scheduled to take place throughout 2023 to mark the 150th anniversary of the International Law Association (ILA).

This webinar discussed the White Paper on the Anthropocene and was an opportunity to look at possible future scenarios and to explore questions and options for potential solutions.

Dr Nilufer Oral spoke on the topic “The Preservation of Coastal State Rights under Sea Level Rise: the Case of Sinking Islands and Archipelagos”
