CIL & CML Exhibition in SMI Booth at Singapore Maritime Week 2025
From 25 to 27 March 2025, the Centre for International Law (CIL) and the Centre for Maritime Law (CML) at the National University of Singapore proudly showcased their key research projects as Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) Research Partners at the SMI Booth during Singapore Maritime Week (SMW) 2025.
Organized by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, SMW 2025 took place from 24 to 28 March at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. This 19th edition of the annual event attracted over 20,000 attendees from nearly 80 countries, including Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister Murali Pillai, government officials, port authorities, industry leaders, and maritime professionals. The expanded EXPO@SMW featured close to 200 local and international exhibitors, reflecting the growing global interest in Singapore as a leading maritime hub.
Themed 'Actions Meet Ambition,' SMW 2025 focused on key areas such as decarbonization, digitalization, maritime services, and talent development. The event provided a platform for high-level engagements and thought leadership discussions, including presentations by heads of international organizations and dialogues on navigating global maritime trends.
By participating in SMW 2025, CIL and CML highlighted their ongoing contributions to legal research in the maritime sector.
