CIL Ocean Law and Policy Programme Researchers at White Paper Virtual Meeting on Determining Microplastics Distribution in Coastal Aquaculture Input Systems and Developing a Mitigation Plan towards Seafood Safety, organised by the APEC Oceans and Fisheries Working Group (OFWG) on 2 November 2022


Researchers from CIL Ocean Law and Policy Programme have been invited to contribute to the White Paper being prepared by APEC Ocean and Fisheries Working Group 9APEC OFWG) on regional laws, policies and practices on microplastics in coastal aquaculture. They participated in this context to an online working meeting with contributors from all APEC economies held on 2 November 2022.

Yulu Liu represented the CIL OLP Team. Other members of the team developed for Singapore includes colleagues from other parts of NUS: the Tropical Marine Science Institute (TMSI), the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Asia-Pacific Centre for Environmental Law (APCEL). APEC OFWG project on microplastics in coastal aquaculture and food security.
