CIL Research Fellows Dita Liliansa and Dr. Su Wai Mon participated in the Australia-Southeast Asia Blue Security Workshop on 20 November 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The workshop was organized by the Asia-Pacific Development, Diplomacy & Defence Dialogue (AP4D) as part of the Blue Security Programme, funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The programme included a Workshop on Maritime Risk Reduction in Southeast Asia, a Workshop on the Law of the Sea, and tabletop exercises. It was attended by early and mid-career researchers from Australia and ASEAN countries, providing a platform to share research, discuss perspectives, and propose practical policy recommendations.
