Dita Liliansa Lectured at Hasanuddin University

CIL Research Fellow Dita Liliansa delivered a guess lecture on ‘The Current Developments in the Law of the Sea’ on 12 November 2024 as part of the Law of the Sea Course at the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. The lecture was held in a hybrid format and attended by undergraduate students from the university. It discussed some recent developments in the law of the sea, including the recent United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ Agreement), human rights at sea, as well as the advisory opinions on climate change.
