CIL Research Fellow, Dita Liliansa, recently gave a lecture at the 4^th Airlangga Summer School, held by the Faculty of Law of Airlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia, from June 3 to 8, 2024. The theme for this year’s programme was ‘Legal Pluralism and Contemporary Legal Issues in Asia.’ On June 5, 2024, she delivered a presentation on “Protection of People at Sea in Southeast Asia,” exploring the different concepts of jurisdiction under the law of the sea and international human rights law. The programme attracted participation from undergraduate law students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and the United States.
