CIL Research Fellow, Dita Liliansa, gave a lecture at the Indo-Pacific Maritime Governance and Networking for Innovation and Excellence (GENIE) Programme on 6 August 2024. The programme, organised by La Trobe Asia and the Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies (YCAPS), receives funding support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Australia-ASEAN Council. She delivered a presentation on “UNCLOS 101,” providing an introductory overview of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea to the first cohort of the Maritime GENIE programme, consisting of emerging leaders from Australia and five ASEAN states.
