Dita Liliansa presented at the “Symposium on the Evolution of the UNCLOS: Progress and Prospects”


CIL Research Fellow, Dita Liliansa, made a presentation on “Emerging Challenge to the UNCLOS and International Law” panel in the “Symposium on the Evolution of the UNCLOS: Progress and Prospects.” The symposium was organised by Centre for Rule of Ocean Law Studies and Centre for Polar and Deep Ocean Development, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It took place in Shanghai, China, from 24th to 26th April 2024. She discussed the progress and prospects of protecting the human rights of fishers in Southeast Asia, and how law of the sea and international human rights law can better interact.
