Dr Dawoon Jung, research fellow, had a research visit at the University of Copenhagen between 20 and 24 March. She also shared her research on “Offshore Carbon Capture and Storage and the Protection of the Marine Environment” at the Centre for International Law and Governance (CILG) Lunch Seminar on 24 March 2023. The presentation examined the extent to which obligations to protect the marine environment under UNCLOS provide effective regulations for managing the risks posed by CCS, focusing on the Asia-Pacific Region. The details of the presentation are available at here.
