Co-Head of the CIL Oceans Law and Policy Team. Dr Tara Davenport, participated (virtually) in an academic conference on “Undersea Cables, Geoeconomics, and Security in the Indo-Pacific: Risks and Resilience” organized by the University of Hawaii’s Centre for Indo-Pacific Affairs, the Japan Foundation, Keio University and Khalifa University, and held in Hawaii from 26 – 27 October 2023. She presented on “Southeast Asian Approaches to the Protection of Submarine Cables: Problems and Prospects for Cooperation.”
