Enzo Elia participated in the 12th Annual Harvard International Arbitration Conference
During his stay at Harvard Law School, Enzo Elia also participated in the 12th Annual Harvard International Arbitration Conference, from 5 to 7 March. Under the theme "Legitimacy, Multiplicity, and Innovation: Perspectives on the Future of Arbitration," the conference brought together over 50 speakers for three days of substantive panels and exchanges.
Topics ranged from post-M&A disputes and the role of dissent in arbitration, to the evolving role of states as stakeholders, climate-related disputes and ESG challenges, third-party funding, judicial oversight and public policy, energy disputes from the corporate client's perspective, interim measures and enforcement, sanctions, data centre arbitration, and how the next generation is reshaping practice. The closing ceremony by Philippe Sands KC on the next chapter in arbitration was a fitting conclusion to an outstanding programme.
