On 13 August 2024, Mr. Joel Ong, Research Assistant and Dr. Trung Nguyen, Research Fellow of Ocean Law and Policy attended a meeting at the Legal and Insurance Committee of the Singapore Shipping Association. At the meeting, Joel made a presentation on the Regulation of Dark Ships and made recommendations for the shipping industry in Singapore to collaborate with government agencies in Singapore to address the challenges posted by the dark fleet.
