Mohammad Hazrati presented at the 2nd ELAWNET Conference held at the University of Oslo
Dr. Mohammad Hazrati, Senior Research Fellow at CIL, presented at the 2nd ELAWNET Conference, held at the University of Oslo on 12–13 June 2025. The conference focused on energy law in the context of the green transition towards net zero emissions. The ELAWNET project explores the regulatory changes needed to support this transition. It is led by the Department of Energy and Resources Law at the University of Oslo, in collaboration with the Research Group in Natural Resources Law. The project brings together Norwegian and international legal scholars specializing in energy law and includes multidisciplinary research.
The conference provided a platform for discussion and knowledge sharing on legal challenges in electricity market design and the just energy transition under net zero goals. Dr. Hazrati contributed to the panel on "National and Regional Approaches to Electricity Market Design," where he presented his reflections on “Advancing ASEAN’s Energy Transition: Overcoming Barriers to an Integrated Electricity Market.”
