20 June 2025: CIL Director Dr Nilüfer Oral was Invited by the Portuguese Institute of the Law of the Sea to Speak at the Annual Conference in Cascais, Portugal.
The conference brought together leading experts from all over the world to discuss the topic “Sea-Level Rise and the Law of the Sea”. Dr Oral was invited to deliver a presentation on “Sea-Level Rise and the Law of the Sea: Legal Gaps and Informal Lawmaking”.
