Research Fellow Nivedita S was invited to participate in a closed-door “Southeast Asia Workshop on Research Reactors and Decommissioning” on 27 March 2024 in Singapore. The workshop was organised by Pacific Forum International as part of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific (CSCAP) Nuclear Energy Experts Group’s Southeast Asia Special Working Group. As part of the session on “Transporting Sensitive and Hazardous Materials in Southeast Asia”, Nivedita provided a brief introduction to the topic and highlighted the work that CIL has done in the area.
