We are pleased to announce that an Associate of CIL, Mr Diego German Mejia-Lemos, was awarded the NUS President’s Graduate Fellowship in January 2014. Mr Mejia-Lemos is a PhD candidate and research scholar at the NUS Faculty of Law. The fellowship is tenable for an initial one year and is conferred on Ph.D. candidates who show exceptional promise or accomplishment in research. Mr Mejia-Lemos is conducting research on the customary international law governing the conditions for the existence of the sources of international law.
