CIL Research Positions in International Dispute Resolution

The Centre for International Law (CIL) of the National University of Singapore (NUS) is embarking on a new research programme in International Dispute Resolution (IDR) in which it will undertake research in the various methods of resolving disputes between States, disputes between States and private companies, and disputes between States and international organisations. The research programme will examine all forms of international dispute resolution including negotiation, fact-finding, conciliation, mediation, arbitration and adjudication.

CIL currently has two positions for Research Fellows. Candidates with a doctorate in international law are preferred, but CIL will also consider applicants with an LL.M. in international law if they also have practical experience in dispute resolution. Candidates who have held internships at the PCA or ICJ are encouraged to apply if they have the requisite academic qualifications.

Interested candidates should send a letter of interest and their CV to Ms Renee Chan, CIL’s head of human resources, at cilchan@nus.edu.sg by no later than 4 May 2015. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the end of May for an interview.
