The Centre for International Law and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 21 March 2011 with a view to developing collaboration on a variety of public international law subjects of mutual interest to both organisations such as treaty law and practice and customary international law in domestic courts. The MOU was signed by CIL Director Robert C Beckman and the Institute Director Robert McCorquodale.
