CIL has implemented a number of measures to help fight climate change and promote environmental sustainability. A newly installed recycling bin at the CIL office allows researchers and staff to recycle used paper. The Centre routinely recycles its used toner cartridges in a special recycling bin located on the Bukit Timah Campus. CIL staff also recycle their plastic name-card holders that get sent back to the vendor for re-use. The Centre is also exploring the use of eco-friendly stationary items made from recycled materials for the office and for conferences.
