This Convention shall enter into force on the ninetieth day following the date of deposit of the fourth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession. 2. For each State ratifying, accepting, approving or acceding to the Convention after the deposit of the fourth instrument, the Convention shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after deposit by such State of its instrument.”

There are 6 signatories to the Convention: the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
