The Eminent Persons Group was created and mandated by the ASEAN summit to examine and provide practical recommendations on the directions and nature of the ASEAN Charter via the 2005 Kuala Lumpur Declaration on the Establishment of the ASEAN Charter. The ASEAN Summit endorsed the report via the 2007 Cebu Declaration on the Blueprint of the ASEAN Charter. |
