A Special Issue on "Regional Energy Interconnectivity and Sustainable Development: Role for International Law" with the Journal of Energy and Natural Resources Law - JERL of the International Bar Association’s Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law was just published and is now available here. This issue has been co-edited by Damilola S. Olawuyi, Professor and UNESCO Chair on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar, and Denise Cheong, former Head of the Energy Law and Policy Team at the Centre for International Law (CIL).
Featuring ten insightful articles from authors across the world, this Special Issue advances the discourse on the role that international law can play in deepening regional energy interconnectivity and integration, while promoting the energy trinity – energy security, energy transition, and energy sovereignty.
